We run a small boutique bed and breakfast – approved by Sawday’s – with 2 en-suite rooms and salt-water swimming pool, in the central Italian region of Le Marche, 40km from the coast and 25km from the Sibillini Mountains and National Park.

If you’re looking for a relaxing break, seriously tasty food, great wine and total peace and quiet, then get in touch.  Please note, we have a minimum stay of 2 nights.

We are two Brits, Mike and Kelda. We relocated from London to Le Marche in January 2016. We’ve been coming to Le Marche since 2004 and in 2007 bought an old run-down farmhouse and land, and rebuilt it as Casale Volpe. Le Marche is most definitely now our home.

Mike is fluent in French, speaks excellent Italian and lives for cycling. Kelda loves cooking and gardening, which go hand-in-hand. We have two cats: Ernie and Herbert, who also relocated with us from London.

Accommodation

Our bed and breakfast has two spacious bedrooms with large en-suite walk-in showers; each room can be set up as one king-size double bed, or two single beds. Just let us know how you’d like it.

We have a salt-water swimming pool and nine acres of land with pine, cherry, walnut, peach and olive trees. There’s enough space for you to lose yourself for a few hours, to watch the local wildlife, listen to the birds and have a sunset swim.

We’re 5km from the village of Sant’Angelo in Pontano which has a bank with cash machine, two lively bars, three great restaurants, two butchers, a small supermarket and a fruit and vegetable shop. So, it covers pretty much everything you might need. It has a hairdresser too, if your stay is a particularly long one.
